2022 Qatar World Cup

The 2022 FIFA World Cup is the 22nd FIFA World Cup and will be held in Qatar from 20 November to 18 December 2022, becoming the first major sporting event without restrictions following the global outbreak of COVID-19. It is also the first time that the World Cup will be held in autumn in the northern hemisphere from November to December. This World Cup is the second to be held in Asia since the 2002 World Cup in Korea and Japan.
